Hi, I’m Linda. I’ll be the one at your door.
I founded NoVa Notary Co. so families in Northern Virginia could get documents signed without the runaround. No call center, no quote game, no stranger in a suit. Just me, on time, ready to help.
Years bedside, and what it taught me.
For years I worked in social services, much of it bedside in hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. I sat with families on some of the hardest days of their lives. I learned how to stay calm when things felt heavy, and how to handle sensitive paperwork with care.
When I left that world, I wanted to keep doing the useful part on my own terms. With a Master’s degree in social work, becoming a mobile notary felt like a great fit. It lets me show up for people in challenging moments — a power of attorney before a procedure, an estate document a family kept putting off — while helping them fulfill a practical need.
I’m comfortable where most people aren’t.
I’m comfortable in hospitals and care facilities. I’ve been in plenty of them. I know how to be respectful around an ailing parent, how to work alongside nurses and social workers, and when to slow down. When capacity is ever in question, I defer to a physician. I notarize signatures. I don’t give legal advice, and I’ll always point you to an attorney for the rest.
What you can count on from me.
You’ll always know the price before I arrive. I’ll show up when I say I will. And I’ll treat your family the way I’d want mine treated. That’s all there is to it.
