You're caring for a parent or loved one, and a document can't wait. A power of attorney before a procedure. An advance directive the hospital is asking for. Estate paperwork that suddenly has a deadline. You don't have time to drive anywhere, and you shouldn't have to.

Capacity windows close. Procedures get scheduled. A signature done wrong can get challenged later in court, exactly when a family can least afford it. You need someone who can get to the bedside quickly and handle it correctly, with respect for what your family is going through.

What’s included and what it costs
The Estate Planning Bedside Package is $295. It covers travel within Zone 1 or 2, up to 4 notarial acts like a POA, advance directive, HIPAA release, or healthcare proxy, up to 60 minutes on site, one witness if needed, and same-day or next-day priority. Handling more documents or a larger estate? The Family Estate Bundle runs $445.

A few things people ask.
Can you come to any hospital or nursing facility?
Yes, anywhere within about 30 miles of Alexandria. Just give me the name and room, and any check-in steps.
What if my parent's ability to understand the document is in question?
I take capacity seriously. When it’s ever in doubt, I’ll ask for physician confirmation before proceeding. I notarize the signature. I don’t make the capacity call alone.
How fast can you get there?
Same-day when I can swing it, and true emergencies too. Call or text and I’ll tell you straight.
Do you give legal advice?
No. I notarize signatures and I’ll point you to an attorney for anything legal. If you don’t have one, I can suggest where to look.
