What's the difference between state and federal apostille?
It depends on who issued the document. State-issued records (like a Virginia birth certificate) go through Richmond. Federally issued documents go through the US Department of State in DC. Send it to me and I’ll tell you which path you’re on.
How long does it take?
State apostilles typically take a week or two. A rush option hand-carries to Richmond in about 3 business days for an added fee.
Do you handle translations?
I can coordinate a translator if your document needs one. You pay the translator’s cost plus a small coordination fee.
